Carnivores conservation

Carnivores conservation

Fauna Australis research includes from the tiny Kod Kod (Leopardus guigna) to the mountain lion (Puma concolor) along deserts, andean mountains, temperate rainforests and patagonia.

Carnivores research is part of our alliance with WildCRU and Professor David Macdonald at Oxford University

Our research laboratory has a long-term research plan that includes human dimensions, diet, home range analysis, conflict resolution and captive management. We are proud to say that we have done research along the entire distribution range of the Chilean top predator from the desert and altiplano to Patagonia.
